NAPE annually holds a women’s conference to discuss issues relevant to women in the labour movement.
Applications are now being accepted for the NAPE Women’s Conference. The conference will be held IN-PERSON this year at The Wild’s Resort, May 25-27, 2023.
The selection process for this conference will be done by region. Members who have not attended a women’s conference will be given priority, wherever possible. Registration is open to women who are NAPE members. As in previous years, the committee will compile a waiting list; therefore, if you are chosen and then are unable to attend, it is important to notify NAPE Accounting immediately. The committee will be back-filling from the wait-list.
Members who wish to drive will be reimbursed for their mileage. Members requiring air travel will be flown into St. John’s. All air travel must be booked through NAPE Accounting.
All meals will be included except travel time.
NAPE will be arranging time-off/wage loss for those who attend the Women’s Conference.
Registration will be on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 3pm to 5pm, in the main lobby of the hotel. This conference starts Thursday evening and concludes Saturday morning. Anyone attending must commit to this time frame.
