NAPE Members in Eleven Public Sector Bargaining Units Vote 83% in Favour of Accepting Tentative Agreements
ST. JOHN’S, NL – Voting for public sector workers in twelve public sector bargaining units of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE) has concluded. Votes took place province-wide over the past three weeks.
Overall, members of the public sector bargaining units, representing over 17,000 workers across the province, voted 83% in favour of accepting the agreement. The results are as follows:

“This round of bargaining has been long and arduous, so we are happy to reach this stage and see this overall result,” said NAPE President Carol Furlong. “We will now work on getting the agreements signed as soon as possible.”
