There are 280 employees working with these agencies. According to NAPE President Carol Furlong, “this will be a total of nine recently negotiated settlements between NAPE and Home Care Agencies and we look forward to concluding agreements with the remaining agencies.”
The tentative agreement consists of wage increases, improvements in benefits and contract language. Ratification votes will be held over the coming weeks.
