The National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE), of which NAPE is a component, is conducting research into what generational change means for unions and the labour movement in Canada.
The research will begin with a short survey of members of NUPGE components. The purpose will be to help recruit participants for an upcoming online study. The survey will take under 10 minutes to complete.
Members’ views will be reported with complete anonymity, and questions will explore a number of themes:
• Perceptions of union trust
• Perceptions of union value
• Perceptions of youth in the workplace and within the union
This survey is open to members of all ages, and all are encouraged to take part.
We are especially encouraging young workers, under 35, who have been less active or less vocal within the union.
All members who participate in the survey will have a chance to win a new iPad in an upcoming draw.
