NAPE President Carol Furlong stated “there are four days of meetings scheduled between the parties. We are hopeful that government will join NAPE in ensuring we find a fair and equitable solution to this most unfortunate dispute.”
Furlong went on to state “it is time that this eight month strike ended so that the staff and the clients they serve can get on with their lives. This will only happen if all players come to the table with one objective – to end the strike as quickly as possible”.
