Eastern Health Workers at Hoyles-Escasoni Complex to Demonstrate Tomorrow
ST. JOHN’S, NL – Workers with Eastern Health at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex, who are members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE), will be holding a demonstration tomorrow in opposition to cuts at Eastern Health.
Date: Friday, July 27
Time: 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Hoyles-Escasoni Complex
(Corner of Portugal Cove Rd. and MacDonald Dr.)
NAPE President Carol Furlong and Secretary-Treasurer Bert Blundon will be in attendance.
NAPE represents over 25,000 public and private sector workers across Newfoundland and Labrador, including over 5,500 workers at Eastern Health.
