Eastern Health Workers to Demonstrate Today 

ST. JOHN’S, NL – Workers with Eastern Health, who are members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE), will be holding a demonstration today in opposition to the cuts announced this week as part of Eastern Health’s ‘Operational Improvements’ plan.

Date:             Thursday, May 31 

Time:             11:00 to 1:00 p.m.

Location:      St. Clare’s Hospital

NAPE President Carol Furlong will be in attendance at 12:15 p.m.

NAPE represents over 25,000 public and private sector workers across Newfoundland and Labrador, including over 5500 workers at Eastern Health.
