Job Evaluation System (JES)

Important information regarding governments new Job Evaluation System (JES), including the JES Training and Information Schedule and Registration process, has been posted on the government’s JES website (bottom of page) at:

http://www.exec.gov.nl.ca/exec/hrs/newjobevaluation.html

It is critical that all members be made aware of the training schedules for employees wishing to seek a review of the ratings for their position under the new JES. Each employee seeking a review has to apply for the training.

This is a one time opportunity for a review under the new system. It is important to note that employees requesting a ratings review will see the current ratings confirmed or adjusted up or down.

We have been advised that the job profiles for all positions are now posted on the government website at:

http://www.exec.gov.nl.ca/exec/hrs/jobeval/index.asp

Should employees require additional information they should contact the JES Project Team directly at JES@gov.nl.ca or by phone at 729-6334.
