NAPE had a strong presence at the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) National Day of Action event in St. John’s on Saturday, September 15, 2012.
The St. John’s demo was part of a national day of action to protest the Harper government’s austerity agenda which has lead to public services being slashed and thousands of jobs being lost. Another 1,500 federal public service jobs were cut the day before the Day of Action alone.
