NAPE Members with Quality Hotel in St. John’s Ratify Three Year Collective Agreement

ST. JOHN’S, NL – Workers at Quality Hotel, located on Hill O’ Chips in St. John’s, have ratified their new collective agreement. The employees are represented by the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE).

According to NAPE President Carol Furlong, members have ratified the new agreement which includes wage increases as well as several improvements in contract language.

NAPE represents 40 workers at Quality Hotel.

The agreement is effective, retroactively, as of October 1, 2013 and expires on September 30, 2016.
