There are approximately 150 employees working with this agency. According to NAPE Secretary/Treasurer, Bert Blundon “this is the fifteenth and final agreement for all unionized Home Care Agencies. This is a milestone for NAPE and all of its home care members”. Blundon further stated “this is the culmination of a lot of hard work and will see significant improvements in the working lives of home care workers. NAPE will continue to organize the few remaining non union home care agencies.”
The tentative agreement continues the trend of wage increases, improvements in benefits, working conditions and contract language.
