There are 100 employees working with these agencies. According to NAPE President Carol Furlong, “this is a total of eleven recently negotiated settlements (ten of which have been reached in the last ten days) between NAPE and Home Care Agencies and this is a first collective agreement for Placentia Home Care.”
The tentative agreements consist of wage increases, improvements in benefits and contract language. Ratification votes will be held over the coming weeks.
