Says Furlong, “LPNs in this province have been required to expand their education and scope of practise. Yet there is no tangible recognition by government for their additional duties, greater responsibilities, and increased potential for liability.”
Furlong went on to say: “It is time for government to provide LPNs with a salary that reflects their current scope of practise.”
