NAPE is giving the money to Oxfam Canada to help in efforts to support the people of Haiti. NAPE President Carol Furlong said, “the $15,000 from NAPE is in addition to $25,000 donated by our National Union, all of which will be matched by the federal government. NAPE is encouraging its members to contribute in any way they can to show solidarity to the people of Haitian communities.
