2022 Young Workers Conference

NAPE will be holding a Young Workers’ Conference on November 6, 7 & 8, 2022  (Sunday, Monday & Tuesday) inclusive, at The Wilds, Salmonier Line.

Selection will be made for individuals aged 35 and under on a Province-wide basis with consideration being given to equal regional and gender representation.

The deadline for applications is September 27, 2022.

The Committee will be compiling a waitlist, therefore, if you apply and cannot attend, it is important that you inform us immediately since the Committee will be “backfilling” from the waitlist.

Registration

Registration will be held on Friday, Sunday, November 6, from 3 – 5 pm in the main lobby of the Resort.  Please make every attempt to register as early as possible in order to accommodate the evening meal and the plenary session being held that same evening.

Accommodations

Single room accommodations will be provided to all registrants.  You may be required to share a chalet and/or cabin but every attendee will have their own bedroom.

Should an attendee choose to arrange other accommodations, the amount payable under the Union’s policy is $40.00 per night plus $10.00 incidental expense.  These amounts will not apply to area residents.

Time off

NAPE will be covering time off for those delegates who are selected and attend the conference.

The Conference will consist of guest speakers, plenary sessions, workshops, discussion groups, games, and socials.

Successful applicants will be notified by the NAPE Accounting Department.
