Eastern Health Workers in Bonavista to Demonstrate Today

ST. JOHN’S, NL – Workers with Eastern Health in Bonavista, who are members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE), will be holding a demonstration today in opposition to the recently announced cuts at Eastern Health.

Date:             Friday, June 8 (TODAY)

Time:             12:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Location:      Golden Heights Manor, Campbell Street, Bonavista

NAPE President Carol Furlong and Secretary-Treasurer Bert Blundon will be in attendance.

NAPE represents over 25,000 public and private sector workers across Newfoundland and Labrador, including over 5500 workers at Eastern Health.
