Labatt Workers Return to Bargaining Table With Employer

ST. JOHN’S, NL – The negotiating team representing workers with Labatt Brewery Company (Labatt), who are members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE), returned to the bargaining table with their employer today.

Both parties have been working with a conciliator to return to the table since talks originally broke off in March.

“Our negotiating team is committed to reaching a fair deal at the table,” said NAPE President Carol Furlong.

Workers with Labatt have been on strike since April 10 of this year.
