The officers were suspended by their employer for one week with no pay or benefits at that time.

“We are very pleased with the arbitrator’s decision to clear these members of any wrong doing, repay lost wages and benefits, and remove disciplines from personal files as a result of their improper suspension in 2009,” said NAPE President Carol Furlong. “We were confident from the outset that our members were innocent of any wrong doing in this situation. The only wrong committed here was by their employer and the provincial government. The arbitrator’s decision affirms that position.”
