NAPE Members at Humber Valley Complex Limited in Deer Lake Vote to Ratify Collective Agreement

ST. JOHN’S, NL– The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE) is pleased to announce that members at the Humber Valley personal care home in Deer Lake voted in favour of ratifying their agreement. There are approximately 20 NAPE members working at the personal care home.
According to NAPE President Jerry Earle, in addition to an increase in wages, the agreement contains a signing bonus, increases in shift differential, additional sick time and an increase in vacation pay.
The Agreement is effective as of January 1, 2015 and is set to expire on December 31, 2018.
