NAPE Members with Springdale Town Council Ratify Four Year Collective Agreement With 13% Wage Increase
ST. JOHN’S, NL – Employees of the Springdale Town Council have ratified their new collective agreement. The employees are represented by the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE).
According to NAPE President Carol Furlong, members have ratified the new agreement which includes an average wage increase of 5%, 3%, 3% and 2% over four years, as well as improvements in the leave and protective clothing provisions.
The agreement is effective January 1, 2013 and expires December 31, 2016.
