NAPE Reaches Tentative Agreement with Browning Harvey Ltd. (Pepsi)

ST. JOHN’S, NL– The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE) and Browning Harvey Ltd. have reached a tentative agreement. NAPE represents and unites over 60 workers at Browning Harvey across the province.

According to NAPE President Jerry Earle, the tentative agreement includes monetary increases as well as improvements in contract language.

“Our members at Browning Harvey create top quality products that are manufactured right here in Newfoundland and Labrador and enjoyed by thousands across the province,” said Earle. “We are happy to reach this tentative agreement after a tough round of negotiations that went into the eleventh hour. Our bargaining team has reached the best possible result at the table; one that we believe will be acceptable to the membership.”

Details of the tentative agreement will be released to members at the ratification meetings, which are currently being scheduled.
