The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE) and Safety Services Newfoundland Labrador (formally Newfoundland and Labrador Safety Council) have reached a new three-year collective agreement.

500 public and private sector workers from across the province will gather at the Sheraton Hotel in St. John’s this week for the 19th Biennial Convention of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE).

NAPE President Carol Furlong has endorsed the provincial government’s decision to expand public services and the number of people who deliver them.
