NAPE members employed with Caregivers, an agency providing home and residential support services, have voted to accept a new collective agreement.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees has reached a tentative agreement for nearly 600 NAPE members employed with Caregivers Inc. who provide home support and residential care.

This is national medical laboratory week. NAPE, the union representing approximately 450 lab professionals, says while the work lab professionals perform is essential to the people of the province, their work is rarely acknowledged.
