Striking workers with the Burin Marystown Employment Training Board will be demonstrating in front of the Confederation Building today at 12:30pm.

Conciliation talks between government and striking workers with the Burin/Marystown Employment and Training Board have broken off after two days.

“An application by the College of the North Atlantic for a court injunction applicable to striking members of the Burin/Marystown Community Training and Employment Board will do nothing to resolve the current dispute to achieve equality and respect and reach a collective agreement”, says NAPE President Carol Furlong.
