The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE) applauds an arbitrator’s ruling which clears two Labrador conservation officers, who are members of NAPE, of any wrong doing in a high-profile incident in December 2009.

NAPE President Carol Furlong says progress has been made between NAPE and Eastern Health regarding the status of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who received notice of lay off from their full time positions.
